 KABUL: US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has said that Ayman-al-Zawahri was living in Pakistan’s tribal areas, adding that he wanted to see Pakistan’s action against al Qaeda Chief. According to a foreign news agency, Panetta, prior to his arrival in Kabul on a surprise visit, said that it was strategically possible to defeat Al-Qaeda if the United States could kill or capture up to 20 remaining leaders of the core group and its affiliates.
